Manager – Essential Needs Harrogate
Essential Needs, established in 1995, is the Harrogate Borough’s only community furniture store, providing access to low cost new and preloved furniture, electrical appliances and other essential household items to those who need them most.
Purpose of the post
This is an amazing opportunity for the right person to use their experience and skills to manage staff and volunteers, deliver a first class service to our customers; and to work with Trustees to develop and implement our exciting future plans.
The successful applicant will:
- Have excellent management, communication and organisational skills
- Have a high level of computer literacy
- Have the ability to work with vulnerable people with a variety of different needs
- Be responsible for developing strategic relationships and working in partnership
Salary: in the range £26,000 – £30,000 (full time equivalent) plus pension
Hours: 28 hours per week
Contract Type: Part time/permanent
