Essential Needs of Harrogate urgently need all items of furniture and household goods, which we will collect from you, free of charge, at a mutually convenient time, usually within 3 – 5 working days of contact. No more worries about costly disposal or of contributing to the growing environmental problem of landfill sites. You can be content in the knowledge that your furniture will be helping someone less well off than yourself to ‘turn an empty house into a home’.
We do, however, reserve the right to politely decline to accept, at the driver’s discretion, any item offered depending on our needs at the time of contact, or the requirements of current safety legislation. (In particular, we can only accept upholstered items if there is a label attached affirming that it complies with the 1988 (or later) Regulations).
